This is the first major holiday I've experienced since starting CF. Wasn't sure if HQ would post a WOD for Thanksgiving or call it another rest day. Good call though posting a workout anyone could do anywhere. I might just be in the basement tomorrow morning hating burpees once again.

Terrible! First time I've tried 'endurance' burpees -- never gone more than ten in a set before. Having a target to jump at made it a bit tougher, as it stopped me 'cheating' the second half of the rep. Managed to hit ten a minute with ever decreasing recoveries, from around 12s to -1s!

First, I feel compelled to let all the awesome people at CrossFit.com know that I PR'ed by 15# last night in my deadlift. 205#!!! I'm beyond excited to have broken 200. I've gone from 85# to 205# in 5 months. CrossFit, I freaking love you.

Really fantastic video, Tony & Pat! I'll be coming back to this later; gives me a lot to think about as I train for my first CF competition in January. Also, I'm very jealous of your giant whiteboard.

Fantasitc WOD today, I'll see if I can convince my cousins to do it with me today! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

The part of the video where they were talking about Dead Lifts reminded me of something Rip said during my Barbell Cert. Basically we were watching video of some world class lifters Deadlifting some serious weight and the woman in front of me asked why it looked like some of them had rounded backs.
