CrossFit “favors smaller guys” to the extent that you foolishly believe that larger men cannot and need not develop coordination, accuracy, agility, and balance. This 250 pound soldier learned a glide kip in fifteen minutes. If you ask him about programming that doesn’t develop gymnastics skills he’ll simply and correctly tell you, “It’s deficient!” Many of our best performers are well over 200 pounds.
